Account Settings

How do I change my email address ?

Web:

  • Click on the arrow dropdown next to your profile picture on the top right corner > Account Settings > Account (Alternatively, click here)
  • Next to ‘Email’ section, click on the edit symbol (pencil)
  • Enter new email address
  • Click the ‘Send OTP’ button. You will receive the OTP in your new email address.
  • Enter the code you have received to verify your new email address.

App:

  • At the bottom navigation bar, navigate to the ‘Menu’ page.  
  • On the top right corner, tap on ‘Settings’ icon > Account Security > Edit email
  • Enter new email address
  • Tap on ‘Send OTP’ You will receive the OTP in your new email address. 
  • Enter the code you have received to verify your new email address
How do I add/change my mobile number ?

Web:

  • Click on the arrow dropdown next to your profile picture on the top right corner > Account Settings > Account (Alternatively, click here)
  • Next to ‘Mobile Number’ section, click on the edit symbol (pencil)
  • Select your country (country code) and enter your mobile number
  • Click the ‘Send OTP’ button. You will receive the OTP via SMS. 
  • Enter the code you have received to verify your new mobile number.

App: 

  • At the bottom navigation bar, navigate to the ‘Menu’ page.  
  • On the top right corner, tap on ‘Settings’ icon > Account Security > Edit mobile number
  • Enter new mobile number
  • Tap on ‘Send OTP’ You will receive the OTP via SMS with your new mobile number. 
  • Enter the code you have received to verify your new mobile numb

How do I verify my mobile number ? How to get my mobile number verified ?

Web:

  • Click on the arrow dropdown next to your profile picture on the top right corner > Account Settings > Account (Alternatively, click here)
  • Next to ‘Mobile Number’ section, click on the edit symbol (pencil icon)
  • Double check your mobile number, edit it if you would like to change to a different number.
  • Click the ‘Send OTP’ button. You will receive the OTP via SMS. 
  • Enter the code you have received to verify your new mobile number. 

App: 

  • At the bottom navigation bar, navigate to the ‘Menu’ page.  
  • On the top right corner, tap on ‘Settings’ icon > Account Security > Edit mobile number
  • Enter new mobile number
  • Tap on ‘Send OTP’ You will receive the OTP via SMS with your new mobile number. 
  • Enter the code you have received to verify your new mobile number

Notification

I have trouble receiving email OTP code / I am not able to receive email OTP code  
  • Check the ‘Spam’ folder in your email account
  • Click on ‘Send OTP’ again to get another OTP

I have trouble receiving SMS OTP code / I am not able to receive SMS OTP code
  • Ensure that you have selected the right country code
  • Restart your phone and try requesting for OTP again
  • If you are still unable to receive the OTP, please check if you are able to receive SMS from another mobile number. If you are able to receive SMS from another mobile number, it is likely a merchant issue. Please check with the respective merchant’s customer support.

How do I unsubscribe to email notifications ?

Web:

Go to Account Settings > Account > Notification section. You may toggle/untoggle the options to enable/disable different types of email notification you will be receiving. 

App:

  • At the bottom navigation bar, navigate to the ‘Menu’ page.  
  • On the top right corner, tap on ‘Settings’ icon > Account Security > Notifications 
  • You may toggle/untoggle the options to enable/disable different types of email notification you will be receiving.
How do I re-subscribe/enable email notifications ?

Web:

Go to Account Settings > Account > Notification section. You may toggle/untoggle the options to enable/disable different types of email notification you will be receiving.

I am not able to receive any email from Bossjob

  • Make sure to use the latest browser versions/app version
  • Access the website/app on another device
  • For web: Clear browser cookies and cache (Instructions)
  • For app: Clear cache via Account Settings > General > Storage
  • Enable Javascript (Instructions)
  • Enable Cookies (Instructions)
  • Access the website/app with a more stable internet connection
